FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE is an independent art studio founded by Swiss artist Cindy Fournier and based in London, United Kingdom, and is online only.

The studio offers original artistic work produced as limited-edition and other art prints, photography, poetry prints, art postcards and, where offered, personalised works.

For questions regarding an order or these Terms, please use the contact details provided on the website.

Every effort is made to describe and represent each artwork as accurately as possible.

Product pages specify the relevant dimensions, format, edition, materials and other characteristics of each work.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prints are supplied unframed. Frames, furniture and other objects appearing in interior photographs, mock-ups or styling images are for presentation purposes only and are not included in the purchase.

Colours, contrast, texture and scale may appear slightly different on screen depending on the device and display settings used. Such minor variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Where an artwork is sold as a limited edition, the applicable edition size will be stated on the relevant product page.

Limited-edition prints may be signed and numbered by the artist as specified in the individual product description. Edition information relates to the format or edition identified on the product page.

Once the stated edition has been completed, no additional copies will be produced as part of that same edition.

Where a Certificate of Authenticity is included, this will be stated in the product description.

Art postcards are offered separately from fine art prints and may have different edition sizes, materials, finishes and production specifications.

The applicable details are stated on each postcard product page.

Purchase of a postcard does not constitute purchase of, or entitlement to, a limited-edition fine art print of the same artwork.

All prints are produced and prepared after an order has been received rather than held as finished stock.

Estimated preparation or processing times are stated on the website and are separate from estimated delivery times.

A product being made to order does not, by itself, remove any cancellation or return rights that you may have under applicable consumer law.

Where a print is created specifically to your instructions, personalised for you, or otherwise made to your individual specifications, different cancellation rights may apply.

Where the statutory right to cancel does not apply to a clearly personalised or bespoke product, this will be made clear before purchase.

This does not affect your rights if a personalised product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website. All transactions are processed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

The price payable for an artwork will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed, together with any applicable delivery charges or other charges clearly disclosed before payment.

No mandatory charge will intentionally be introduced only after you have committed to the purchase.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order can be processed.

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the selected product subject to these Terms.

You will receive confirmation of your order using the contact details supplied during checkout.

FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE reserves the right not to accept or fulfil an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:

• a product is unexpectedly unavailable;

• payment cannot be authorised;

• an obvious pricing or product-information error has occurred; or

• fulfilling the order would be unlawful or impossible.

Where payment has already been taken for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount will be refunded.

Payments are processed at the time of order placement. Once your payment is successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation email with details of your purchase.

Please ensure that your billing information matches the information on your payment method to avoid any delays.

All artworks are prepared to order. Current estimated processing times are displayed on my Shipping Guide.

Delivery estimates begin after processing and are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

If circumstances outside the studio's reasonable control cause a significant delay, you will be contacted where appropriate.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied when placing your order is complete and accurate.

Available shipping destinations may change according to applicable postal, customs, regulatory or other requirements.

Current destinations, shipping charges and any temporary shipping restrictions are set out in the Shipping Guide.

Where a destination is not available at checkout, please do not place an order using an alternative destination with the intention of subsequently redirecting the shipment.

International customers are responsible for checking any import requirements applicable in their country. Where import duties, taxes or similar charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable separately by the recipient, where permitted by applicable law.

Customers visiting London may be able to collect an artwork in person by prior arrangement.

Collection is not a walk-in service and must be agreed with FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE in advance. The collection arrangements, including date, time and location, will be confirmed directly.

Please do not travel to collect an order until the collection has been confirmed.

London collection does not affect any statutory consumer rights that apply to the purchase.

Where UK distance-selling cancellation rights apply, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

If you wish to exercise this right, you must notify FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE within the applicable cancellation period.

After notifying the studio of your cancellation, you must return the goods within the period required by applicable law.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in the Shipping & Returns policy, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.

Returned products should be appropriately packaged and handled with reasonable care. A deduction from a refund may be made where legally permitted if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect them.

Certain products made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you may not carry the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. Where this applies, it will be made clear before purchase.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all intellectual property rights in artworks, photographs, poetry, writing, designs, digital collages, product imagery, website content and other creative material by Cindy Fournier / FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE remain with Cindy Fournier’s copyright.

Purchasing an artwork or print means that you own the physical copy purchased. It does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the underlying work.

An artwork may not be reproduced, copied, scanned, commercially photographed, adapted, distributed, licensed, used for merchandise or exploited commercially without prior written permission from the relevant copyright owner.

This does not prevent the owner of a physical artwork from displaying and enjoying the work for personal purposes.

If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE as soon as reasonably possible with your order details and, where useful, photographs showing the issue.

A suitable remedy will be provided in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described.

Images and text appearing on the FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE website are provided for viewing and purchasing purposes.

Artwork images may not be downloaded, reproduced, republished or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.

Interior mock-ups and lifestyle images are intended to help visualise an artwork in a space and should not be relied upon as exact representations of physical scale, framing or colour.

Please refer to the dimensions stated on the individual product page before purchasing.

Any customer testimonials or reviews published by FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE are intended to represent genuine customer experiences.

Reviews will not knowingly be fabricated or presented misleadingly. Where a review or endorsement has been incentivised, this will be disclosed where required.

FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE may moderate unlawful, abusive, irrelevant or otherwise inappropriate content, but will not intentionally suppress genuine negative reviews merely because they are unfavourable.

Any promotion, discount code or special offer is subject to the conditions stated alongside that offer.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively to completed orders.
