FAQs
If you’re curious about how things work — from what I create to how it reaches you — you’ll find a few answers below. If your question isn’t here, you’re always welcome to get in touch.
Who are you?
My name is Cindy Fournier, and I’m the artist behind For The Romantics Left Alive. This space is both a gallery and a quiet rebellion — a way to honour emotion, longing, and introspection through mixed-media art and poetry. I create for those who still feel deeply, who still dream.
What kind of art do you make?
I create limited edition prints that blend photography, collage, and words. Each piece is a reflection of a moment suspended in time. Poetry is often woven in, or left whispering beneath the surface.
Are the artworks signed or numbered?
Yes. All prints are signed and part of a limited series. I number each one by hand to honour its uniqueness and the connection between us. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity. More info is available here.
Can I commission a custom piece?
I take on bespoke projects if they align with the spirit of the gallery. If you have something in mind — a feeling, a story, a fragment — I’d love to hear it. Reach out via the contact form.
Where do you ship from? Do you ship internationally?
I ship from the UK to the UK and some European regions only. For now, at least. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. You can find more information here.
How is the artwork packaged?
Each piece is wrapped with care and intention. Unframed prints are sent flat in protective boxes in a corrugated mailing box. Everything is packaged to preserve the work — and the moment — as it travels to you. You can find more information here.
What’s your return policy?
Because my work is produced in limited editions and made with care, all sales are final. That said, if your order arrives damaged, please email me within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order details — I’ll do my best to help.
Can I find your work in physical galleries?
Occasionally, yes. I announce any exhibitions or pop-ups on Instagram and via my mailing list. If you’d like to stay in the loop, you can subscribe below.
Can I feature your work in a publication or project?
Absolutely. If you’d like to feature my work, collaborate, or simply start a conversation, send me a message through the contact page or email me at fortheromanticsleftalive@proton.me.
Why “For The Romantics Left Alive”?
Because I believe they still exist — the ones who linger in silence, who write letters they never send, who see beauty in cracks and shadows. This gallery is for them. For you.
