FOR THE ROMANTICS LEFT ALIVE was born in March 2023.

Her founder, Cindy Fournier, known under the signature /ℭ., started experimenting with digital photography, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create mixed media visuals in 2016. Self-taught, she’s been exploring gothic, eerie and highly contrasted aesthetics through a surrealistic lens. Since writing sits at the core of her creative portfolio, being in English or French, her native language, she began to link existing poems with new visuals she created.
